This felt like a cheap rtype, the shooting sound is dead and boring, they need to fix that and add a cool sounding bullets

I wanted to play it but killing the ship with one hit is too much for nowadays. The ship could have a life bar and more people would enjoy playing it. Or at least if I have more lives like Ikaruga it would be better.

I was in LOVE with the R-Type series growing up. The only one I physically own anymore is R-Type Final for PS2. Will definitely be waiting for more on this fabulous title!

Super R-Type back on the SNES was one of my favorites back in the day (it and Super Nova introduced me to side scrolling shoot-em-ups). Yeah it was a bit notorious for having a lot of slow down when the action got hectic, but I had a lot of fun with it and the soundtrack is still stuck in my head to this day.
